Another Armchair Tour

Now we all know that quilters like to attend Quilt Shows to look at quilts. Even better is if you can "attend" a show without leaving your armchair and computer screen. We have a number of shows happening this summer within a few hours drive of our fair city (See the up to date list on our sidebar.) I was lucky enough to attend Maine Quilts 2010 this past weekend. I have just posted photos of some ribbon winners on my own blog. If you'd like to see them just click here. The small quilt shown above is from the Blueberry Fields Forever Challenge. It was made by Pat Smith of the Kennebec Valley Quilters' Guild of Madison Maine. Members were given two medium values of blue and pine green; they had to use both, and add two embellishments of their choosing.
